Complaint Review: Fresh Star aka Lenox Capitol

I was ripped off by this company. And I never thought it could happen to me. But it did. I got a phone call with a great offer I thought I could give my son a great x-mas.

Well "Madiline" said this is a great offer. At first I declined but she insisted it would be a bad offer to pass up so I gave in and gave her my info. A check dated for 11/15 that is when I was to recieve my divorce settlemen. Well I found out I wasn't getting my settlement then so I called and changed the date for 11/29 but still no settlement. So I called back on 11/27 and declined on the offer and the woman reassured me it was cancelled.

Well today well I was checking over my account on line I discovered a charge of $221.95 on my account. What is this?

I ran to the bank and tried to see if I could figure it out. As I was ther I rememberd "Fresh Start". I ran home and I had thrown away there number.So I returned to the bank with my check that was witten out with VOID 11/27 written on it. I filled out a dipute form and returned home. I called the phone company to see if I could get a list of #'s I have called but 1-800 #'s can't be traced.

The operator I was talking to is the one who gave me this wed site. Thank You! I will be contacting my local TV station and we will get these crooks. Maria Repetto I was most impressed with your story!
