In February of 2002 I signed up for what I thought was an unsecured credit card. I later received a Benefits membership materials package, the Premier Benefit Club instead of the card.

I received a form in the mail to return in order to get my refund. On the letter it stated that a refund would be sent within 30 days of receipt. I waited the 30 days and never received a refund. From that point I called 6 times in a span of 6 months. Each and every time they claimed that a check would be cut, and that checks are only cut once a month.

They instructed me to call back and check to see if a check was cut. Each time I got the same line saying that it wasn't cut and that they didn't know why. They just kept telling me to check back. I've spoken to numerous operators, I've only gotten the name for a few of them. Their names are Jean, Loretta, Diane Adams, Lee Taylor, and Jordan Jett. Many times they would refuse to give me their names, or their last names. The last time I called which was March 5 and I was told that a check would be cut at the latest March 14th. Each time I called, I would either get hung up on, or wait on hold in excess of 30 minutes.

I feel that they have been quite unresponsive and have gotten no cooperation. I've requested assurances from them on the check actually being sent out and each time they said they couldn't guarantee anything and just repeated that I should receive the check shortly which has never occured.
