I joined KFF last year in hopes to meet cool people. I followed up joining AznFF and Iff.

The experience with the Customer Service Reps at Friend Finder have been atrocious. They refuse to comply with their own protocol especially when the errors made are their own. They also make attempts to double talk at the exspense of the member on personal feelings..

While I was a paying member I was harrassed in chat by someone who was immediately banned for his derogatory and vulgar namecalling. PortugueseLove a Customer Service rep saught to make sure the banment was in place. She saw that he came in and harrassed me for no reason and there fore he was banned even though I argued with him back.

Months had passed and there was a similar situation. But this time I was harrassed by someone who was african american. All things changed and customer service began to walk on eggshells. I argued back to the customer service reps who wanted to ban me too since the situation was almost exact to the one in the past. The person came in and attacked the only female in chat at the time. He used racist and derogatory and vulgar remarks.

I immediately felt alone. I paid for my account and he came in insulting my race, my size and me being female. He said derogatory things about me without me saying anything to him and yet here I was facing banment cause I argued with him back. I debated tooth and nail with customer service and with the heads of customer serivce and his words were as a woman I should expect these things and take the harrasment with a grain of salt.

I was shocked at this.

Ever since then the customer service rep has been watching my account trying to demerit me and throwing me off the site even though the harrasment person left.

I had blogged about a situation on another site. And they sent me a terms of service violation email stating that I had engaged in the harassment of another member through Blogging.

When I called to show them there was no such offense the customer service rep "Hermann" yelled at me and screamed I wouldnt let him talk. I was silent on the other end wondering why he was screaming at me. The only thing I could think of is he wanted to note me as a argumentative caller. He kept saying how my blog was racist and he offered to read it for me. When I said please do he said "Well its kinda long ...ehhhh"

When I explained to him that my blog had no relation to the site in question there for there is no member being harrassed he would not speak to me only read from a paper on how I need to take the demerit. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he was also yelling at me and hung up on me. I called back and asked why and he was very polite. I asked him why he hung up and he said he dropped the phone and it landed on the reciever.

I began explaining to him that there was no tos violation. He tried to find a coralation between the blog and tos and could not. He left me on the phone for 2 hours and made 3 other customer reps read it when he finally got to me he said the title was offensive to italianamericans (yet im italian american)????

After that I asked him aboutb blog posting protocol. Blogs are approved by customer service before they can be read by the public. I asked why was my blog approved by his customer service in the first place if it was so in violation of TOS? Especially when it was made a issue 3 days after posting and other members have conversed on it. He said it was human error. I realized that he was targeting my account.

He wanted the BLOG approved so he could ban me. I find this practice really unprofessional.

I called up Natalie Cedeno, who said her hands are tied because the customer service head will not give this case up.. although she read the blog in question and it was not offensive. She wanted me to take the demerit when I said I refuse too cause customer service will only try to demerit my account again.

I trully believe as a Woman I am getting a unfair shake and being labled at ff. I have saught to email the CEO at his homesite and I have contacted the BBB cause I believe that the customer service rep is not giving me fairness. Especially when he had me on the phone for several hours looking for something wrong.

Simply they sent me something saying that I "engaged in the harassment of another member through our Blog Feature" Without that ever happening.

To get through to their customer service you have to wait until pst time. On top of that you need to wait till they answer which takes over 15 rings. Then you get to a CSR and they all say something different.

I had called them up on other issues when blogs and announcments were denied. No one ever had the correct information.

Friend Finder is a messy network. I was a member in good standing with over 350 friends and this had to happen.
