It is now up to close to 10 times a week that I get an email with a nonsensical subject and no message except a geocities link such as "http://geocities.com/ap28r 59142" This links to a friendfinder web page. Lately, these web pages have obscene picture content, including probable underage girls having sex. I complain to the sending IP, lately level 3 communications and lo and behold, my reply is from friendfinder. This leaves me to believe level 3 and friendfinder are in bed together. The reply is always the same, "we need more information--we have affiliates that canvas for prospective members. Friendfinder says they oppose spammers, but refuse to do anything about canning their affiliate program. In the case of friendfinder, affiliate is another name for spammer. Friendfinder knows this yet they continue to market their product through illegal neans. This a United States based company. This company sends spam to addresses in the US. Our anti spam act went into effect almost a year ago, yet the spam keeps coming
