We first experienced trouble with our washer on Nov. 3. Of course, nothing can be fixed on Sat. We called one of the repair places recommended by Frigidaire for warranty repairs on Mon. They promised to come out the next day and didn't show up. They promised to come the next 3 days and didn't show up. By Friday we called the other repair place. They promised to come Monday and did. They said it needed a particular part and it would come in one to six days. After a week I called and the part was not in and would be in on the 25th. I called on the 26th and it was not in but should be in on the 30th. Apparently, these parts come from their plant in Mexico or some place else overseas. I called on Dec. 3 and guess what? It still wasn't in. It has now been promised in a few days.

I don't know how this can be called a warranty. If it is ever repaired to our satisfaction, I'll be amazed. No one should have to wait more than a month (in the company of their dirty laundry) for a warranty repair. They should take the part out of a new machine or replace it with a new machine if warranty means anything. Appliances need a "Lemon Law".
