We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in August; the compressor repeatedly fails to start and the temperature routinely fluctuates ten degrees or more in the refrigerator compartment.

The gasket around the freezer has never fit; the warranty service man came out, told us he didn't have the part and would order it and come out to install it. We never heard from him again.

We called a second warranty service man since the first service company doesn't seem to be around anymore. He came out and told us that the refrigerator fluctuating from 35 to 50 degrees was the "normal" temperature and was not a problem. The fact that the gasket in the freezer compartment doesn't fit and leaks air and frosts the top of the compartment is not an issue, according to him because "the gasket isn't worn out."

Bottom line: buy (((competitor's name redacted))).

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
