I placed an order 1/30/10 for a spray of flowers to be delivered to my Grandfather's wake the following day.  Because they were to be delivered on a Sunday, I was slightly taken aback by the $14 delivery charge, but decided that $65 was not an outrageous price to pay for a spray of gladiolas.  When I arrived at the wake, at first I assumed that my flowers hadn't been delivered yet.  After examining the cards attached to the flowers, I discovered a pink plastic vase that contained gladiolas and carnations with my name on it!  It looked like something you would send as a birthday present and was not at all suitable for a wake/funeral.  Because my grandfather was being buried in a military cemetery, my vase wasn't even taken to the cemetery because vases were not allowed.  I immediately called the customer service line and they apologized profusely and promised to credit my card a 20% refund and re-deliver the flowers to my house, so I could take them to the cemetery myself.   Today is 2/3/10.  It has been 3 days since I spoke to the original customer service rep.  I called again this afternoon asking where the flowers were and they told me the florist was putting them together and they would be delivered this afternoon.  At 7pm I called and asked where my flowers were.  The customer service rep explained to me that there had been a "miscommunication" between the florist and their customer service dept.  I demanded a full refund.  They readily complied, but informed me that $10 had already been credited back to my card, and the remaining $55 would be credited within the next 3 days.  I just checked my statement.  The $10 they supposedly refunded is not showing on my online statement.  I'm hopeful that I will receive my full refund, but even that is not enough to make up for how they handled what should be considered a very important order.  Birthday and Valentines day flowers can be sent again the following year.  You only get one chance to get a floral arrangement for a funeral right.  Please don't trust this company with important occasions.  The low price just isn't worth the risk.  I'll update later in regards to whether or not I get the full refund.
