Frontier Airlines ,Frontier Frequent flier program is NOW a TOTAL RIPOFF Denver Colorado
I have been a member of Frontier Airlines Frequent Flier "Early Returns" program for years. It worked very well until this year when Frontier so severely restricted available seats that it became a TOTAL RIPOFF. You cannot get a seat, even when fares are very low and seats are WIDELY available at SLOW times.
Next, they increased the "miles" necessary for a flight from 15,000 to 20,000... so the miles already accumulated were 1/3 WORTH LESS. RIPOFF.
Then, they added a $25/seat general redemption fee and a $75/seat fee for tickets redeemed with 14 days or less notice. RIPOFF! So what used to be *free* now costs a MINIMUM of $100. Then, they added BAGGAGE FEES each direction... so by the time they were finished, the value of a "free" seat was ZERO. NADA. NOTHING. I could BUY a seat for $169 or get a "FREE" seat for $161. My "FREE" seat was worth $8.
I have lots of "miles" which are now WORTHLESS. I fly Southwest NOW, they at least know how to treat their customers.
AVOID FRONTIER, they do not appreciate their customers and will RIP YOU OFF!
