Frontier Pharmacy did not fill my prescription yet did bill me $19.95 for a "membership" fee that I did not authorize.

I cancelled this membership by phone in July. They have continued to charge my CC the $19.95 beginning in Oct. thru Feb.

When I contacted Frontier, the customer service dept told me my membership had been cancelled in July & that they would send me a check for the last 2 months charged to my card. She said she was only authorized to refund 2 months & I would have to contact G&G Services to get the rest refunded.

G&G Services tells me that the membership was never cancelled at all & won't let me get a word in. He (George) tells me that Customer Service has made a mistake & that there is no "proof" that I cancelled.

I called Customer Service back to get the "proof" & suddenly they no longer had a record of cancellation.

Paul, this will be my last post to you; but not to the Florida authorities.

I have not contradicted myself at all although I did have to shorten what I posted on this website due to space. You have the BBB report & know all the details. You are pursposely being deceptive but that's no surprise.

You seem to have quite a few IP addresses based on the dozens of other complaints that everyone reading this right now is completely aware of. What's your point?

As for the "personal information on her that we cannot obtain without her physically entering it"; most of that is wrong. Someone must have made it up!

Questions:
1. Even if an order was placed as you insist, why would you "process" an order that you claim has no Dr. information on it & then charge that person $19.95 a month for the next 5 months? Why not send an error message like legitimate businesses do telling the customer that the order will not be processed without the required field being completed?

2. Why would you continually charge someone a "membership fee" when an order was never filled? If you post this membership fee all over the website as you claim, why wouldn't the customer call to cancel the "membership" once the prescription was "denied"?

3. Why is it that you show this supposed order to have been placed in June, customer service tells me she see's that I cancelled the membership in July but the "membership fee's" didn't start showing up on my CC until October? How did she see a cancellation that I never cancelled? How did the "cancellation" I never cancelled but that your customer service rep saw disappear w/in minutes of my phone call to "George"?

4. Why would I place a prescription order with you & give you my Dr. name & number so that you can contact her to get my information to fill my prescription? Why wouldn't I go directly to my Dr. instead & have it covered by insurance? Do people really do this? Or, maybe Frontier/G&G make this stuff up so they can collect $19.95 a month from unsuspecting internet users, banks & CC companies....?!

5. Why are there so many more of these types of complaints against Frontier Pharmacies & G&G Services to name a few? Some sort of conspiracy?

6. Why haven't you contacted me? Why is it you only talk to me on this website?

7. How do you sleep at night knowing what you are? Save your breath, you'll need it later.

This will be our last posting for this issue. Patti now writes that she didn't place an order and that she has contacted her credit card company about fraud. Well Patti it seems that you are very much contradicting yourself, because in your first posting you write "Frontier Pharmacy did not fill my prescription yet did bill me $19.95 for a membership fee".

We will provide proof that Patti placed an order for medication; we have her IP Address, personal information on her that we cannot obtain without her physically entering it. When Patti called in February 2005 we cancelled the membership and customer service issued a check for $39.90 for the last two membership charges and our record indicate she has cashed this check. Furthermore now she is going to commit fraud by submitting a false claim against us through her credit card company. We did not have to issue any refunds but we did because we value customer service over our profits. The information below is a cut and paste of Patti's order from our backend.

1. Patti provided the name to her primary care physician, but provided us with no contact number. We were unable to contact the doctor for her prescription and she did not respond to our emails asking her for his number.

2. Her IP address is clearly stated. This is standard procedure on all websites to prevent for fraud. If this is not Patti's IP address, she should report the fraud to the merchant account company.

3. Order was reviewed by customer service and declined because of no contact information for her doctor.

4. Shipping/Billing address and email correspondence sent to customer at the email address she provided.

Frontier Pharmacies - G&G Services Ripoff

#5Author of original report

Fri, April 15, 2005

I reported these companies to the BBB in Florida & pretty much got the response you see above in their rebuttal. The following is my response. If there is anyone else being ripped off by Frontier Pharmacies, Direct RX & many more, read on & please contact the BBB in Florida. I will post any success w/the Florida authorities. -PT

I have read the attachment(response) and would like the BBB to know that despite asking for this information, this is the FIRST time I have seen this. (Frontier copied & pasted my supposed order & sent it to BBB) I NEVER placed an order to begin with so therefore I have not seen any "membership" fee small print! I NEVER received ANYTHING from this company. I never canceled any "membership" because there was nothing to cancel!

The billing manager also mentions sending me emails. I have never received any emails from him or this company! He does have my information correctly but he has never contacted me in any way. I never received any kind of receipt or invoice for any transaction because there never was one.

I have contacted my credit card company and I'm sure they will take care of these bogus charges as I'm sure all of the other complainants have done. I'm not sure who is being more victimized by this "company," the public or the the credit card companies & banks keeping these people in business.

I would also like advise on how to turn this company over to the authorities. It doesn't sound like they are going to refund my money and I don't want to stop with just this complaint. As I stated in my original complaint, there are MANY other people out there that have been swindled by this company and someone needs to at least try to put a stop to it.

I've done some investigating of my own & found that Frontier Pharmacies & G&G Services are just 2 of many more companies committing this type of fraud & it seems they all come back to one person; Mark Cohan of Hollywood, FL. He is the Corporate Officer/Registered Agent of Direct RX Discount, Inc., I-Net Management, Inc., E-Biz Management, LLC. & the list goes on. I think you'll find many complaints against most or all of these companies & everyone has a very similar story. You can find this information at www.sunbiz.org.

Where do I go from here? Which Florida authority do I report this to & send the documents I've compiled so far?

Thank you for your assistance. I do hope you investigate this further & put a stop to the very good living Mark Cohan has made for himself by stealing.

If customer service told Patti that there was proof of cancellation they were wrong in doing so because there was none and we apologize to Patti about that.

When placing an order for medication through FrontierPharmacies.com you are charged an order processing fee of $19.95 which is non-refundable, you are also enrolled in a membership to directrxdiscount.com and in order to submit an order for medication you have to agree to both the processing fee and membership. All of this is explained on the website as well as via email, the membership charges begin 1 month after the order for medication is placed, so in that one month you have time to check out the membership website to see if it fits your needs and if it doesn't you can cancel your membership through the membership website or by contacting customer service via telephone.

As stated we had no documentation that Patti ever cancelled her membership till she spoke to customer service and G&G Services. G&G Services handles credit card billing for Frontier Pharmacies and its affiliates. If customer service told Patti that there was proof of cancellation they were wrong in doing so because there was none and we apologize to Patti about that.

As far as the order for medication, the reason we ask for your Primary Care Physician's name and contact information is because all medication dispensed by the pharmacy must be authorized by the customer's Primary Care Physician. FrontierPharmacies.com and its affiliates do not have online doctors or questionnaire's to obtain prescription medication, that practice is deemed illegal by the FDA and DEA. We contact the customer's doctor with a prescription request and that doctor needs to sign off on that request before the medication can be shipped.

We encourage anyone who places an order and feels they have been wrongly charged to please contact FrontierPharmacies.com customer service number at 866-385-5090 or G&G Services at 866-384-0667 Monday-Friday 9am to 4pm EST.
