Complaint Review: Frontier Pools Humble Texas

Frontier Pools Humble Texas Installed pool back in July 2010, still trying to get them out here to fix the pool. Pool not level because they used sand to backfill the holes on the side supports which has washed out underground. Humble, Texas

Well, here we go!! Frontier Pools, Bobby McCullah's group came out to install my 18 x 33 Lomart pool in July of 2010. At that time he was having some issues with his crew so they came, worked a few hours, and then left and said they would be back the next day with a full crew and would be done, that didn't happen. Two days later a partial crew showed up with one guy and two kids, Bobby never did supervise nor did he install my pool, nor did he see the work being done. My husband sat and watched the whole thing. The side supports were supposed to be concrete filled blocks with rebar installed inground, as this is a buttress free pool. They got the supplies and did the digging and installed the blocks. However, they did not level the entire pool, and they backfilled the holes around the supports and blocks with the sand that I had hauled in to place over the sod for the liner to rest on instead of using the soil that was there which they had dug up and/or the sod that was removed to backfill the holes on the supports. If this had been done with the soil and the soil packed, as per the instructions, I would not have washout underground on my side supports and would not have VERY visable sloping on the sides and rails, along with bowing on the rails and visable water level issues. The sand has washed out underground, duh! If I had known this when they did it I would have stopped them there. However, I am not the POOL installer, they are and my husband didn't know to stop them. We have made MULTIPLE phone calls, I have sent MULTIPLE e-mails (I keep everything), and I have MULTIPLE text messages promising to come out, take down the pool, and install it correctly. Well, as you probably have guessed, no return phone calls, no shows, no return e-mails, or texts. It is now November 30th and still no one has come and honored there contract the way Mr. McCullah said he would. Our last conversation was on October 25, 2010 when Mr.McCullah said he would be leaving Houston at 9:00 am and guess what, he didn't show up and he didn't call to give me another excuse as to why he didn't show up. We have had another installer out to give an assessment and he confirmed that the pool supports were washed out underground and that the pool was not installed and leveled properly or this would not have happened. That being said.....I tried and tried to be patient and understanding, but this is ridiculous!!!  I paid $2,150 to have my pool installed and it should darn well be done correctly and they should honor their word and their agreement. Now, I have contacted my attorney and will file suit with Frontier Pools. I have given MORE than enough time for them to come and make this right. I JUST WANT MY POOL FIXED LIKE YOU PROMISED!!!
