FRSTeam is on American Family Insurance's list of prefered restoration services.  The service they try to provide is restoring electronics and fabrics.  For my particular insurance claim they tried to restore my electronics & fabrics from smoke/water damage.  They're first attempt at cleaning my belongings failed miserablely.  FRSTeam delivered my personal property back to me.  None of my electronics worked.  They failed to test them.  Not only did most electronic items not work, many were missing cable connectors, power adaptors, module upgrades were missing or broken off in ports etc.

I spoke with one of the delivery employees and they stated that FRSTeam requires no technical skills or vendor certifications to open and restore electronics.  The clothing and fabrics we received had a strong smoke oder.  And several boxes were not ours.  We had to send all the items back to FRSTeam to be recleaned and readdress this smoke smell issue.  I went to the FRSTeam warehouse to evaluate after 2nd re-cleaning of items.  According to FRSTeam smelling is the only available test.  After getting a head-ache from smelling a smokey/ozone flavor repetitively, I let them know this was still unsatisfactory.

I mentioned to them again that there were some items in my pile that did not belong to me.  My insurance adjuster also visited the FRSTeam warehouse to smell my clothing as well.  He awarded us payment to replace clothing due to results.  FRSTeam threatened to take me to court unless I paid them.  I went to FRSTeam warehouse again to settle with them.  There was still a bunch of someone elses clothing (wrong size) mixed in with my stuff.  The FRSTeam rep stated it only costs them $4 a pound to clean.

Yet they claimed I owed them more the $7k for only 200lbs of fabric.  I told them their math didn't seem to add-up.  I asked for an itemized cost structure of cleaning services they successfully provided me.  I was never given that.  I alos asked for an a copy of the agreement I signed with them and an explaination.  They did not provide that for me either.  My option was to pay or go to court.  My advice... Never let FRSTeam by Anderson Cleaners touch your stuff!  You'll be charged for unsuccessful services without an itemized explaination.

It is our mission at Frsteam by Anderson Cleaners to help restore the lives of our customers who have gone through an insurance loss. We care about each of them and take great pride in the nearly 100% of our customers who have responded as either satisfied or extremely satisfied in follow up surveys about our service. Unfortunately, like in all businesses, it may be difficult to arrive at a mutual understanding in all circumstances, and we are saddened that this occurred in this instance. While we were able to restore the items to the satisfaction to a 3rd party evaluation, we greatly wish the home owner would have felt the same. We value all feedback as we believe it helps make us better as leaders in the insurance restoration industry.
