Purchased a T5212 from Frys in San Diego (Aero Drive location) after looking at several models and speaking to sales staff about needs. T5212 advertised in Fry's (and by 2 salespersons)as Pentium D 805 with 1024 RAM expandable to 2048 RAM, compatible with 512MB Video Card, downloaded with Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Got computer home, set it up, ran a system scan at Gateway Website. Lo and behold, RAM chewed up to 824 MB with no available memory slots to upgrade, chip in computer is Pentium 4, system scan says Max video memory capacity is 128MB & OS is Windows XP Service Pack2.

This can't be legal- barring a major assembly/configuration mistake at the Plant, what are my options? If this is widespread there really should be some sort of Class Action instituted.
