Complaint Review: Frys

Frys frys.com. They did not honor extended warranty they sold me. replaced the disk with poor quality disk. more to this than 20 words allowed here Renton, Washington

my LAPTOP had disk crash, i took it in to FRYS (where i purchased it) and used my extended WARRANTY to have the computer fixed.  Thinking i paid 250+ for extended warranty so i can use it.   First they charged me to look at my computer.  They told me i must pay that  and the warranty doesnt cover it. Then they couldn't recover my files they said they cant (which was ok - but its obvious they have poor technical skills because my  husband did recover my files - lol)  then i took it back and after some screams and shouts they took it in again wanting to charge me i refused to pay so they took the computer and 2 weeks later called me to tell me its fixed.  I went to pick it up and noticed all the original programs that came with PC are gone  and the replacement disk was  200GB disk much  less than the original disk that came with the computer when i purchased it.  I remember sales person telling me extended warranty will replace everything as WAS  (what a lie).

Basically they cheat and lie. They lied about service warranty and they cheated me out of my money and my hard disk.
