Roger Barber claims on the FSM website to have been in business for over 25 Years. 25 years ago was 1979.
Owner Roger Barber was 11 years old in 1979.
This lying lunatic once bragged that he purposefully destroyed the equipment of a client, a Mobil station near his residence, when the client cancelled a check written to Roger to perform services which were never performed.
The Merrillville Police subsequently visited Roger regarding the incident, who ended up pleading guilty to the destruction of said equipment. I would recommend strongly that anyone considering hiring this incompetent "contractor" first research his practices as much as possible as I am confident word from any previous client would result in business for a more reputable contractor.

So you put in a rebuttal and some fake 'customer satisfaction'. Nice try! You couldn't find a 'satisfied customer' if you paid one, and you know that is the truth. Keep lying, anyone can see those pictures are yours that you took for your own profile. If there were anyone really wondering if that was really you, all they would have to do is check your lame tattoos. Bet they match! You are a loser and you make your money ripping off the elderly and gullible! BE WARNED! CHECK YOUR CRIMINAL RECORDS! I don't know the situation involved with this ripoff report,but Rodger has been servicing our heating and a.c. units for over 15 years, always with good results and reasonable charges! This looks and sounds like more of a personal attack than a legit. business complaint. Dave W., Cr. Pt.

Roger Barber, owner of F/S Mechanical is a very fine courteous gentleman, hard worker, working long hours, has a good sense of humor, goes out of his way to please his customers, and does excellent work. He is very knowledgealbe in his field beginning with the teachings from accompanying his father at the age of 11 years old and through several years of schooling in this field...the reasoning of his company name "F/S Mechanical", meaning "Father/Son".
I knew Roger when he worked with his Father and continued with his son after the death of his father. Couldn't find a more honest company to deal with.
To see these horrible pictures someone posted, who had to cut and paste to put on this site, is deplorable and slanderess. Disgruntled fired employees have no conscious but only want to try and destroy the good name of others because of their own many failures and possible addictions.

Not sure if this person has an actual valid claim here. I haven't received any negative feedback from our customers that hasn't been taken care of. We did have to remove parts from some equipment that the customer didn't pay for but that has been settled already, our contract with the person gave us the right to remove the "unpaid for" parts and the customer told us to do it anyway. Equipment was just too old to be trouble free.
Anyways this sounds more personal than anything. If I ended up with his ex-girl friend or (current girlfriend) I can honestly say I was oblivious to the situation.
