My husband and I have bought 2 vehicles from this dealer ship in the past with no problems. This past month we went down to purchase another one. Our credit was pretty shabby this time, I will admit.They sold us a car. We filled out all the paper work. The car was ours, we were told. We drove the car home. After 4 days. Yes 4 days. John calls us and tells us we have to return the car the bank would not take us. I had just started my job and have no car to get there now. They lead us to believe the car was ours. All paper work was signed and handed to us. Now I am carless and jobless.
These people are very mean doing this to someone. They do not need to be giving someone a car and then telling them they have to return it after 4 days of having it. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
We have bought 2 vehicles from them before and they will NEVER see us again!

When did NY begin allowing "spot delivery" from dealerships???
Perhaps the employee will be good enough to explain why the dealership uses this particular business practice?
For those who do not know, "spot delivery" is when a dealership let's you take the vehicle even though there is NO financing agreement-when there is NO SIGNED loan agreement with the lender to finance the purchase.
This is the first report I have read about a dealer in NY State using "spot delivery." I had thought that "spot delivery" was not allowed in NY State. Guess I was mistaken.

It is crucial to put down your actual income on the credit application, special finance banks usually do ask for PROOF OF INCOME as a standard stipulation. I know for a fact this dealer worked very hard and went above and beyond even getting some exceptions made to help accomedate the client. The dealer wants to sell a car just as bad you want the car but filling out a credit application accurately is the customers responsability. I actually have to say that this dealer worked very hard and did everything they could to keep the client happy and in the car. Billy did not get 24 stores by doing bad business ask the thousands of other clients who did not feel the need to be slanderous.
