Unfortunately I was another victim being cheated by Fulfillment International Corp.

I received a call from Bruce (employee no. 608) at 7.45pm on 8 April 2003. I was told i won a special 12 days 11 nights holiday package worths 2790 pound. Bruce was very persuasive and I was being convinced that I only need to pay a special promotional price of 290 pounds per person for this package.

Without second thinking, I have given my credit card number to him straight-away and he told me that my payment will be charged within 30 days. However, after half an hour, I was called by my card center regarding an amount being taken by Fulfillment.

I started to get suspicious about the company. So, I immediately checked its website on the internet and found out this rip-off report website. I went to my bank on the next day and asked them to stop the transaction for me but the money has already transmitted.

So, I send an email to Fulfillment corp customer service to cancel my reservation. However, the company said I cannot cancel my payment and this is what they replied me:

Our company's non-refundable policy is responsible for the fact that our travel package is one of the most deeply discounted holiday purchases available today. We have genuine economic reasons why our highly discounted package must be sold on a non-refundable basis.

Our policies are not designed to create financial hardships for any of our customers, rather they are meant to be fun and relaxing for our travelers. It is for this reason that should the allotted travel time of one year in which to use the package become difficult to do, we will offer an extension of one additional year for usage, at no additional charge. We just ask that you request the extension prior to the one year expiration of your holiday package.">

I read one of the rip-off reports regarding a full refund of the package. I really hope I can cancel the reservation right now and get my money back!!

You purchased a NON-REFUNDABLE package

Dear Ms. SW Koh, During the tape-recorded verification of your purchase, you clearly stated that you understood the package was not free and not something you won. All consumers are told the package price and asked to pay the fees during our one and only telephone call.

You stated, on tape, that you were aware of and authorized the charges to be placed on your credit card. In that your credit card could not hold the total package price at the time of our conversation, we offered you the opportunity to pay half at that time and the balance in 30 days. You understood and accepted those terms, again, during the tape-recorded conversation.

Regarding your cancellation request, you purchased a non-refundable package. You were told during the tape-recorded conversation all relevant details of this promotional offer, including all costs involved and that this was a NON-REFUNDABLE purchase that you were making. You stated you understood and agreed. Some non- or lesser-discounted packages we offer have limited cancellation periods. However, the highly discounted travel package that you purchased from us on April 4, 2003, is non-refundable. We are at a loss how it is you are another victim being cheated. We offered you a tremendous travel package at a highly discounted price, you agreed to the package price and the terms, and your product was shipped.
