I have been contacted by Fulfillment International Corporation, as have many others, I see. Again, they offered me a fantastic deal for 4 people for only $937 + $239 port charge per person. I was repeatedly told that I had not won this trip (obviously they are learning from their mistakes with other people).

I was quite suspicious to start out with and asked to be called back so that I could consult with a family member. However, this was not an option as Robert Brown (Employment Number 113), my operator, was finishing his shift shortly. During the conversation I repeatedly asked if I could independently verify the information I was being given and the quality of the package (thinking of the cruise ship) but was told that the verification process would confirm and guarantee everything I had been promised.

I also asked about a 'cooling off period', in which it was possible to cancel the holiday. Robert told me there was a period of 4-6 weeks in which this was possible so I decided to go for it.

How silly of me! I was then put through to James Lee and the verification process where I foolishly gave out my credit card number over the telephone. I am still kicking myself for this, how stupid can you be?!? I also asked again about the possibility of cancelling the package but James told me that this was not possible and the trip was non-refundable, contrary to what I had been told by Robert.

Anyway, fortunately, the line was interrupted which gave me a chance to have a quick search on the internet and found the rip off report page. When James called me back I told him that I did not want to go ahead with it after all. He asked me why and I told him that I did not like the fact that I had to decide immediately, had no way of checking what they were telling me and did not have the opportunity to consult with a family member.

He then told me that he had already put the transaction through and was making his job very difficult. I repeated that I did not want to proceed and asked him to cancel whatever he had already entered into his computer. He repeated again that I was not making his job easy and wished me a nice life.

Retrospectively, this was quite an intimidating experience as I was pressurised all the way, despite all the warning bells in my head. I do not know if this is a fraud or not, but I can't imagine that a respectable company would market their products in this way. I am interested to hear about anyone who actually went on one of these trips.
