I purchased my bulldog Hoss from Mr. Knott almost 7 years ago and have no complaints what so ever.We arrived at his place and was greeted with nothing but kindness. He showed us all his dogs and even invited us into his house.We have kept in contact for the past 7 years and would recommend his pups to anyone!!!!!

There are many people out there who will tell a story different when they do not get what they want.  First they are going to start by telling you a story to make you feel sorry for them and when they get what they want and it wasn't quite what they thought then the war starts. 

This couple came up with a story and kept calling us to sell our pick pup until we agreed.  They knew what the price was upfront and they read and signed the contract.  We were told they had no intentions on breeding they wanted a pup because of another loss in their family and although it would not make up for the loss it would help to ease the pain. 

Now we could go back and fourth with this and some will agree with them and some with us.  We have all the email and we called about their so called proof as to how bad off this pup was.

This pup was in their home for more than  month with many praises coming from them as to how wonderfull he was.  It was a while after they got him they wrote and said the testicles did not drop.  They said they read our contract and was fine with it and just wanted to let us know as they only purchased him for a pet only.  The sire was taken out of our program right away.  We did not know he only had one t******e.   

Shortly after they got their pet this guy was on the board purchasing pups/dogs like it was the last thing he had to do.  We had no ideal up until this point he was a breeder.  

It was not until later all of a sudden this pup had every problem know to man.  The pup was vet checked before he left here and was in perfect health.  Now when he contact us again with all these so called problems we asked he send vet infor so we can call.  It was more than a month before he sent it and we received a totally different story from the first vet he went to, then what he said they said. 

This man did not like the answer he received and found another vet to make him happy.  We called this vet also and when the call went through it was not answered by a vets office.  We left three messages.  We talked to our vet about these so called problems and they said there was no way this dog had the issue they say.   It is my belief the problems were caused if (he really had these problems) by him or this second vet. 

But the bottom line is, we tried to live up to our contract and they were offered another pup and this was his response, "You know what guys keep the f-------(he wrote the word) money and the d**n pup you were thinking about give us." 

So please do not be so quick to judge unless you do your homework and know all the facts.  As most people know there is always someone out there who will pull a quick one on you and when it does not go the way they think, the problems will begin. 

We do stand behind our pups and have produced many of the dogs you see on the top breeder sites.  They are still beating our door down to get our pups and we are picky who they go to.  We also have pup/dogs who have been championed.

Let me begin by saying there is always two sides to a story.  And second if you do not know all the facts maybe you should do your homework first before talking about something you know nothing about. 

We are checked several times a year from the state.  We are not a puppy miller.  We produce two maybe three litters a year.  Our pups/dogs are vet checked, up to date on all shots and wormed.  They are seen by a licensed vet when there is a problem. 

There are many people out there who lie and are in it for the money. These people lied to us from the beginning.  And he is still lying. We do sell our dogs with a health guarantee and there are steps he was to do from the beginning.  I do have the proof and the full email's that have gone back and fourth between us. 

We asked for the paper work from their vet.  It took them a month before they sent the vet infor.  I called the vet they went to after the pup had been in their home for more than a month.  The pup was checked by our vet before it left here and the pup was very health.   Also when the pup had this so call problem that cause him to passed (docking the tail).  The first vet he went to (which we called) said the pup was healthy and the tail if not kept clean(because it is a bulldog and they have a cork screw) it might have a problem.  So he did not like that answer and went to another vet (SO HE SAID)to get a different answer.  We called the second vet three times and when the call went through it did not even go to a vets office.  Never did talk to him, I did leave three messages.  We talk to our vet about what this so call vet did and they said it should of never been done to this pup.

So please people don't be so quick to judge unless you do your homework.  As most people know there is always someone out there when you're dealing with the public who will not be happy.  These people are trying to pull a quick number most of the time.

There are very few reputable dog/cat breeders in the US; most are backyard breeders who simply care about profit and don't know anything about what they're doing. If you must get a purebred, looking through a breed-specific rescue organization is a great way to go. But if you are bent on buying yourself a pet, you should certainly visit the facility and make sure you see ALL of it before purchasing.

A good breeder (an oxymoron if there ever was one):

breeds an animal only once a year at most
won't breed until they have homes for all the pets they intend to produce
won't sell to you until you have passed a background check
will make you promise to return the animal if you are ever in a situation where you can't keep it any longer.

Even so, it's difficult for me to have any sympathy for someone who clearly bought an animal with the intention of breeding it for profit, didn't do any research about the facility and then is exasperated when it turns out that the place they bought from was only profit driven as well.  It's kind of like going to the police because your drug dealer shorted you on your crack purchase.

Still, you should report them to their municipal animal control/state's attorney consumer protection unit, animal welfare action group. Puppy mills need to be shut down, period.

I have had 1/2 a dozen dealings with Willie of Full of Bull, having purchased dogs he has produced over the past 6 years. The dogs have had vet checks done on them prior to coming to me and then been checked over by our vet and always given a clean bill of health. The dogs that I have purchased have always been well socialized and friendly when I receive them. This is always a concern of mine  when purchasing from someone as I have kids that are always around them. Willie has always answered all my questions and given his advice when I have asked. He has always been up front and honest with me. Long story short....I will continue to be a return customer of his.
