Complaint Review: Full Releases.Com - Billed Through Billingsvc.com

I signed up for a trial on fullreleases.com in the amount of $4.95 on 4/2/08. I was looking to download some software. It sounded good so I tried it. Needless to say, I couldn't download anything, after many feeble attempts to troubleshoot the problem.

I finally gave up and forgot about. Then on 4/4/08 I was looking at my bank statement and I saw an unknown charge in the amount of $29.70. After spending needless hours on the phone trying to call the billingsvc.com toll-free number associated with the internet download service company I had just been ripped off by, and getting no where, I contacting my bank to try to stop payment. I was able to get my original $4.95 credited. But, I'll have to wait to get the $29.70 returned to my account. I also had to cancel the card I used, so no more charges can occur.

To say the least I was totally duped on this one. If it sounds to good to be true; it usually is.
