Fuller Law Group Jake Fuller Law Firm Payday Loan Collection Scam Coeur D Alene, Idaho Nationwide
My wife and I were contacted by 'Fuller Law Group' stating that we owed for a payday loan from 2012 in the amount of $2748.36. They stated that if we did not pay my wife would have an arrest warrant issued by the State of Idaho and my wife would be taken to jail. We contacted local authorities who assured us that this is not how a collections process would be handled and that this was a scam. While I was on the line with the officer my wife received another call stating that it was the local jail house and if she did not pay up the officer would be forced to come and arrest her. We then had to get further reassurance from the local PD who looked in the database to find that no arrest warrant was pending.
The fraudsters are very convincing giving personal information to us and also very intimidating. They demanded payment and wanted it quickly!! Be AWARE everyone.
