Fumfie.com Misrepresentation of product cost -- phone call follow-up with different price than online Brooklyn, New York
I ordered a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 from fumfie.com. Price out the door on the Internet was 469.90 and I added a "marchmadness" coupon which brought the total to 465.90, with $0 for shipping cost.
The first odd thing is that the website sent a confirmation with no price or any record of the transaction.
Then the next morning I see an email from fumfie that they needed to contact me.
I call them twice, then I get to a guy "Barry" which tries to sweet talk me into other things which I am not interested. Then finally, seeing that he could not sell me anything he tells me that the total of my order would be $520.
I immediately cancelled the order.
These guys are just "Brooklyn style hagglers" which do not understand how things work on the Internet. They are a waste of time. I hope this report is worth the time such that others are not wasting their time with them.
