Complaint Review: FUN TIME FULFILLMENT

My husband and I attended a 90 minute presentation and were offered a "deeply discounted" travel deal as a compensation for our time. The packages offered were a 3 day/2night hotel with air package, a 3/5/7 night cruise with air package OR an 8 day/7 night condo stay with air package. Enter FUN TIME FULFILLMENT, AKA FUN TIME VACATIONS.  We filled out the initial registration form and they immediately requested a registration fee/deposit VIA MONEY ORDER ONLY, to activate our "travel file" with them.  That, along with the fact that their email is with Gmail and that they cannot be reached via telephone (fax or email only) should have been a waving burning red flag.

We sent in the deposit, totalling $138.00 and waited. And waited.  After multiple email inquiries, and phone calls to a third party 800 # listed on their "pamphlets" (an entity called THE TRAVEL CENTER, who is wholly incapable of addressing any inquiries or concerns and refers the caller back to the FUN TIME email or fax #), we were sent a 2nd and 3rd round of detailed paperwork to fill out, all with a view to being provided with a quote for our requested package, again at a supposedly deeply discounted rate.

The quote finally arrived.  $2645.00 per person!!!! That is actually slightly above what it would have cost us to book it on our own online!!! Next burning red flag:  They request PAYMENT IN FULL (THAT'S A TOTAL OF $5290.00, FOLKS, TO SPARE YOU THE MATH) and (hold on to your chair!!) they require a CASHIER'S CHECK ONLY!!!

I immediately turned it down and requested a refund of our $138.00 deposit.  They flatly refused.  We were lucky enough to have seen the writing on the wall before we were further financially raped by those scam artists.  However, I see many were not so fortunate and are out a much larger sum of money.  If you are an individual contemplating doing "business" with this sham entity AKA FUN TIME FULFILLMENT/FUN TIME VACATIONS, please I implore you to consider your financial well-being and look elsewhere.  We might as well have saved ourselves the time and flushed our hard earned money down the toilet while waving it a tearful goodbye.  

It is time FUN TIME FULFILMENT AKA FUN TIME VACATIONS (the only ones having a fun time are the thieves plundering the pockets of an unsuspecting public) were prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and that their victims be awarded compensation for their losses.  Who knows, we may see them featured on the next episode of American Greed!!!  IF YOU ARE AN ATTORNEY reading this, please be aware that there is a strong potential for a class action lawsuit.  No doubt they will pack up their malodorous operation and open up elsewhere under a different name, all off the backs of honest hard working folks.  IT HAS TO STOP!!  THEY MUST BE STOPPED!!
