Complaint Review: Fun Time Vacations

 I received a fax at work advertising a 4day/3night vacation to Mexico including airfare for $340.00.  When I called the # on the flyer 1-888-520-2840 the representative explainded that they were able to sell the vacations so low because they were a "Clearing House" and deal in bulk.  He explained that I would have to pay a $69 per person booking fee in addition to the price, and once the process started that the international fees and taxes would be from $190 - $248 per person depending on where I chose, and what airport ect.

Once I paid the $340 (over the phone w/check) the process became convoluted and confusing.  The first email for booking stated that I would lose my $340 that I had already paid if I did not start the booking process by paying the $69 per person fee within 14 days. Then once that was sent, another email for the $50 "Booking Deposit" and to pick our dates for travel.  The quotes arrived in an email 5 days later.  The quote is $556.56 per person.  This is a scam!  If I do not respond to the quote within 24hrs, I will need to pay another $25 for a new quote.  I should not have to pay for a quote that is wrong!  I am reporting this to the BBB.
