Funtonia Failed to cancel subscription & refund charges Internet
I thought I was being charged $2.99 per month for a six month subscription to download ringtones on my cell phone. I was not aware I would be charged $27.94 for the full six months. Additionally, as it turned out, my cell phone which is a very basic Samsung model with Straight Talk as my mobile provider, does NOT accept the type of downloads this site uses. I even tried contacting Straight Talk directly & was informed there was no way I could receive the 3rd party downloads. I have been trying to get a cancellation of my subscription in addition to a full refund of the $27.94 that was charged to my debit card. In fact, because I was charged the full six month fee of $27.94, I was also charged a $36 overdraft fee by my bank. I have been contacting Funtonia by email (they will not give me a customer service phone number) on an almost daily basis & though it has now been a full week since first making my request, I still have not received my refund. I am at my wits end & hope you can do something to help me rectify this situation. Even better, would be to also force them to credit my account with the $36 overdraft fee charged by my bank.
