Complaint Review: Furniture Showcase

Jennifer's experience is very similar to mine. However, it has been seven months since I ordered my furniture. In April I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the charge because Furniture Showcase refused to issue a credit to my card. I continued to try to resolve the issue and was told in June if I would release the dispute from my credit card, my furniture would ship to me within two weeks as it would ship from Arizona the next day. I should have known better. Today, after talking with Mr. Vesterfelt and being told that the owner of the company had been contacted to authorize my refund, I issued another dispute with the credit card company. This is the same owner who refused to issue my credit earlier. Never again will I listen to anyone from Furniture Showcase.

I have heard all of the excuses Jennifer was given plus some more.

I also filed a report with the Better Business Bureau in May and all of Furniture Showcases' responses to my issues were filled with falsehoods. The Better Business Bureau was absolutely no help and Furniture Showcase maintains their A+ rating. In fact, after I filed the report and tried to follow up with the Sales Representative on my order, I was told they could no longer talk to me because I had filed a complaint.


Thank goodness I used my Credit Card. I have learned a very valuable lesson. Never again will I order furniture from a non-local company. I also have learned the Better Business Bureau Ratings in some instances are totally misleading and that if you do file a complaint don't look for resolution.

Unless you want a lot of grief, do not order from Furniture Showcase.
