Furniture USA ripoff, dishonest, lousy customer service, took my additional deposit even though they knew they were in trouble Clemmons North Carolina
I ordered a bedroom set from furniture USA back in March 2004. Left a hefty deposit and was told I would be kept updated on a deliver date.
I gave an additional deposit in June 2004 so my ending balance would not seem so large. They accepted it and said there would be an additional delay of 4 - 8 weeks. That would bring me to 6 months of waiting. I am living out of boxes in my bedroom.
They should have been upfront with the customers and returned the deposits or turned the orders over to a reputable company.
I had to call the BBB to find out what was going on. I couldn't reach them by phone, email or fax.
This stinks. I feel so violated and want my money back...I understand Dean Warren the President of the company has skipped town. What a coward.
