Complaint Review: FUROUTLET

FUROUTLET FUROUTLET IS A SCAM! Send me the item that I didn't order. After the item was returned, I have NOT heard from them since! Weehawken New Jersey

2/22/2008 - This is made through a telephone order (for Blue Fox Fur Shawl, which I want for my event on 4/12/2008), since their website wasnt working that morning. The lady on the phone mentioned that she will email me the receipt regarding the purchased (which I NEVER received).

2/26/2008 - a debit purchase was posted on my account from the Fur Outlet Weehawken in the total of $344.99 including shipping.

3/4/2008 Received notification email mentioned that the item has been shipping after several un-responded emailed inquiries.

3/5/2008 WRONG item is received. I received a boa instead of the shawl that I ordered.

3/6/2008 Contact FurOutlet, which they requested me to mail the boa back, which I returned the boa via insured priority mail with delivery confirmation. I also included as a print out from their website stating the exact item that I purchased to avoid confusion.

- There're several emails going back and forth that day from the FurOutlet confirming the specification regarding the items that I have purchased. I was hoping they are actually getting me the right product.

3/10/2008 I received an automated responded general from their website said "We have received your e-mail. One of our representatives will give you an answer shortly. Thank you."

3/19/2008 - I sent an email request an update from my order. NO REPLY.

3/24/2008 - I sent another email request an update from my order. AGAIN, NO REPLY.

3/25/2008 I made three phone calls and left 1 message on their voice mail. NODODY ANSWERED!

3/26/2008 Final email notice sent regarding filing formal complaints with both Ripoff report as well as Better Business Bureau in 24 hours if FurOutlet continues to ignore my email. I tried calling them once again, NODODY ANSWERED!

3/27/2008 FORMAL COMPLAINT FILED.

All I wanted is for them to send me is the correct item that I ordered, if not a FULL REFUND. This has been causing more stress and hassles that I have encountered through an online shopping experience. Is it that hard to be an honest company!?

My shawl as described finally arrived today. Reporting this has been a great help! I will be absolutely careful next time about online shopping. I will always do background check of all the companies before buying online again!

Furoutlet put my email address through SPAM folder!!!!!

I emailed Furoutlet yet again today, mentioned that they have been reported on the internet.
Giving the link to this story. A minute later, I receive a bounced email saying that "Sending address not accepted due to spam filter"

They are absolutely ridiculous! Take my Money, LIE to me. Send me the WRONG item, and IGNORE me, now put me to SPAM!?!?!

All I want is what I paid for. They are whole brunch of liars and scammers! I will warn everyone I know NOT to buy from them!
