well darn, i wish i knew about this site. i would have never bought from Futon Planet. i do like my cover, haven't washed it yet though.
they have these GRIPPER STRIPS

"Gripper strips are a non-skid material specially designed to create the maximum holding power for you futon mattress. Because their design is so well-though and because they are sold in pairs, Gripper Strips create a holding power that is unlike any other non-slip material on the market."

magic... right? (seriously, they talk it up. There is a VIDEO check it out)
NO! they are 1/4in. gray foam, you know, the kind that disintegrates in a week or so, with a sticky back.
Jennifer was nice enough to pass along the following AWESOME deal from Rima LeBlanc (the owner), who was "on vacation"...who she just spoke with...

Gripper strips
=$29.99-$10.00(for me to send them back)-$12.75(refund her shipping costs ***they didn't charge for shipping***) =$7.24!!! MY REFUND
W H A T ? ?
Well judging from the other two complaints, since i already complained to the BBB I will not be getting my $7.24. I'll send it to the BBB, maybe they want it.

so... the reason they suck.
the strip, which is the full length of the futon, is a fully sticky... meaning in between the slats on the futon, there are exposed sticky parts to attract...whatever wants to stick to it? You would think "FUTON PLANET" knows what a futon looks like, slats and all. The 1/4in. piece of gray foam sucks...it wouldn't keep JACK SH** in place.
you know, if i had gone to a craft store and bought the same thing for... $7.24... hahaha and it was my own brilliant solution to my slipping futon mattress then i wouldn't care, but the fact is that they charged my $29.99 for a POS and refuse to admit it.

Jennifer, Rima and Gabe can go to he**....

that felt good

I would urge anyone who has a problem with the poor quality or bogus conditions to contact the BBB. It's really easy and it will decrease their score and make more people aware of the company.
Has anyone seen any unhappy testimonial on the website? Oh wait, their aren't any... hmmmmm.
