On December 13 2008, i received a mail notice stating that i was eligible to receive a pending government disbursement of $25,000. Being that i could use the money, i called (1-866-576-9176) and spoke to a young lady in english.

She stated that all she needed was my bank account card number so they could deposit the funds into my bank account. I naively gave it to her believing what she was stating as true.

After she got my information, she stated that they were gonna charge me $59. When i asked her why, she mumbled i would have to buy something but didnt elaborate.

I asked her again why she was gonna charge me, and she said that the transaction was complete and hung up on me. I immediately realized that i was being scammed.

30 minutes later, i spoke to the same lady to tell her to cancel the transaction. She said that she couldnt reverse the transaction. I then explained that i didnt have enough money in my account to cover any charges.

The lady then stated, " well if you dont have money in your account, dont worry about it. We are not gonna charge anything to your credit card."

On December 17,2008, ii went to my bank to check my account balance. G.F. Institute charged $69. this sent my account into negative and now the bank is charging me $35.00 non-sufficient fund fee.

I need help to recover my money. And to make sure that others do not fall victim to this scam!
