Complaint Review: G.F. Institute

For the mailing my 88 yr old mother received from G.F. Institute I immediately checked the internet and found report on ripoffreport.com that this was a scam. Called the #1-866-576-9176 - asked to get taken off mailing list - an operater answered several times - each time I asked to speak to a supervisor - one was not available. They said they were just operators and did not have further information on the company and could not provide written confirmation that I would get taken off the mailing list. Finally one operator - Megan # 93 said she could send me and e-mail and that a company representative would call me - I gave her my phone number and email - maybe a big mistake - I have also filled out a U.S. Postal Service Mail Fraud Report- a PS Form 8165 and told the operator I was completing the form and needed the name of a person for the company to put on the form. She said she did not have that information. I am tired of my mom getting phone calls and mailings that are scams on the elderly and am determined to fight back. Thanks for this site.
