G.F. Institute Stamped "Approved". "Office Information re: $25,000 Grant from US Gov't Kansas City Kansas
Received a presorted standad US Postage paid envelope, Carol Stream, IL Permit 1347. Inside was a small document titled: "Important Release of Government Funds Pending" to me (with my name); a release code; and a deadling for response (36 hours from receipt).
Written like an old-fashioned telegram with the inserted word it stated it was urgent I call the telephone number below; give the release code and it would confirm my interest in the $25,000 grant funds. It was supposedly the G.F. Institute of Kansas City, Kansas.
CONCLUSION: To receive any grant monies one has to fill out paperwork for Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam doesn't send us notices they're holding money for us if we're "interested'. If anyone gets one of these, report it--I, personally, don't think this is legitimate. Thank you.
