Complaint Review: G & G Best Transportation Inc.

I had a really NEGATIVE experience with this Co on June 15 2010 from the very beginning. The sales person you start making business with will not be there to assist you for discounts or to fix problems you have later when they send their people to load your things. Upon arrival to the storage unit their drivers tried to rush me to sign the paper work without reading it first. By the way they were 3 hours late. I was told there would be 3 professional movers to load my things, there were only 2. I had to leave 35% of my belongings after they load everything because to them my estimate was not accurate and they wanted to charge me more for the remaining stuff when they had the rest of my things ready to be loaded outside. I was also promised that my belongings would be loaded into a container which I would share with another family. The movers shown up in a large U-haul type of truck and they told me my stuff was going to be off loaded and loaded about 3 times before it got to me. I moved from California to Texas and I had to keep calling them to make sure they arrived the time I needed them to. On the delivery the truck driver pulled up in an open stake bed on a rainy day- luckily nothing got wet and the driver told me he did not work for G & G that it was his personal owned truck and he paid the young guy that was helping him too. He was a rude old man and wanted to charge me extra to take my stuff to my apartment which was only 100 ft. away when I had already agreed with the company manager I would not pay an extra cent to any body else. I was dialing the Co. when he told me not to worry about the 300.00 dollars extra he was trying to charge me. Over all I was not satisfied and I would highly suggest you find a different Co. to work with and make sure the things you are moving are in brand new boxes because they will try to sell you theirs and make sure all your miscellaneous stuff are wrapped in sheets or in a box no matter how large or little, good luck and ask a lot of questions I tried to condense this review so other negative info did not get written down. I wish they could have been more honest and informative with me about what is consider a smooth move not until the last minute.
