Complaint Review: G and R international burea for international travelling

they refuse refund to the faulty service they provided and refunded only part of the cost

Russian visa and travel requires confirmation from place of stay. I contacted G and R international owned Hostel-Asia and requested their services. They sent me the documents and they were in russian so I could not crosscheck the authenticity of what they had written.

On applying for the visa, the authorities told me that there is a mistake in the document and hence did not grant me the visa. I approached the Hostel- asia staff asking for a refund of the money ( it was ~US$ 175). They initially refused it and after many e-mails agreed to refund part of the money (US$ 126).

Tired of dealing with these people, I agreed but when my credit card statement arrived, they only refunded (US$110). They now say that I am lying. I have all the documents to prove that they made a mistake. They were condescending to the end and gave vague explainations for bank charges.

In my many years of using credit cards, I have never heard of bank charges. This is a BIG scam operation going on in Russia. None of their businesses are valid and honest.

I request a full refund of the money I paid in addition to damages for the lost time at work (500 US$ in total) and 4 hrs spent in the cold waiting in line for the visa.
