The company started me at the client (Fidelity & Guaranty Life) on 9/21.  They pressed hard for me to start immediately.  The very first week in inquired with the customer to find out expectations for schedule.  His name is Stuart Tatum stuart.tatum@fglife.com and he advised he really didn't care what time I came in or if I took a lunch or worked through it.

I established an arrival time of 9:30am and was often there prior to that time.  Any time I deviated from that schedule I promptly notified the customer.  At no time did the customer Stuart Tatum or G1440 Stephen Riescher <SRiescher@g1440.com> advise me that attendance was a problem.  In fact, Stephen Riescher <SRiescher@g1440.com> advised that the company wanted to convert me to FTE (Full-time employee) and he assured me that my position was secure.

Shortly after I started there I noticed employees of the organization www.fglife.com engaging in passive agressive bullying type behavior.  Constantly moving my seating arrangements, setting me up to fail on projects, etc.  On 12/12/2011 I arrived at the office and found a chocolate covered peanut crushed up in my chair.  I know it was purposely put there because I had made certain adjustments to that chair that made identifying it unique.  I reported this to the customer because it was obvious to me that someone wanted me to sit in the chocolate mess and I was concerned that things may escalate from there.  Stuart Tatum apologized and said he would make sure no member of his team was responsible.

At 8:45pm on 12/12/2011 Stephen Riescher <SRiescher@g1440.com> called me at home, on my cell phone, and contacted me on email to advised me I was terminated effective immediately.  This was a drastic change from what had been communicated to me prior by both the customer and by Stephen Riescher <SRiescher@g1440.com>.  I asked why I was not given two weeks notice ...after all this is less than two weeks before Christmas!  He advised the customer stated the cause was the attendance issues.  Issues which I was never made aware of or afforded the opportunity to correct.  He also said 'by the way I think they ran out of work for you to do as well'.

This company exploits its employees and will lie, cheat, and deceive their employees to benefit their bottom line.  Once they have no more use for you, they toss you out like last nights trash.

Oh, that is just the way it is...which I find appalling.  This company shows zero regard for their employees!  So here I am terminated less than two weeks before Christmas....merry Christmas to me.  Stay away from these scheisters at all costs.  They are extremely shady....oh and they fired me 9 days before I would have been eligible for benefits.
