Complaint Review: GA Boys Professional Tree Svc

Wayne Fairchild stopped by our home and said he would repair our deck for $1500.00. He then came into the house and wrote a proposal for $1500. That was July 27, 2017. We gave him $750.00 and told him he would get the rest when the job is complete. He went to our credit union and promptly cashed the check. He went an bought some lumber and came back but it started to rain heavily and they left. He came back the next day July 28, 2017 and wanted some more money. My husband gave him a check for $1300.00. It started to rain again and he left the lumber under the carport. His crew did not come on Saturday, My husband called him and he was very billigerent on the phone. He and his crew came on Monday, 31 July, and did some work on the deck. He and his crew came on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 and he wanted some more money. We said no and he packed up this crew and left. He said he wanted a total of $4500.00 for repairing the deck. We said that amount was never discussed.
