Complaint Review: Gadget Schack

Gadget Schack Be very careful to read fine print when ordering from this company. They shipped defective product to me. Expected me to pay for freight to return it even though defective. Will charge 10% re-stocking Seattle, Washington

When I called to complain regarding the fact that they had not included the electric cord nor batteries and tat one of the units was defective their response was that they did not need any customers like me and that they would not pay to have the defective unit resturned. They said that if I bought a product form a local store I would have to go there to return it. The small difference is that I live in Gainesville, GA. I had these intercoms shipped to Miami, FL for my elderly mother who is 90 years old and needs to be monitored. Do they expect her to walk from Miami, FL to Seattle, WA to return the unit?  The owner of this business is extremely arrogant and has a buyer be aware position.... so.... BUYER BE AWARE!!!! I will never buy anything from these people again and caution any one elsoe from doing so.
