Complaint Review: gainsaver

I purchased an imac power supply from Gainsaver in 2010 for $39 (nice price). They offered free shipping for orders of $100 or more from Gainsaver, so I ordered seven bezels for the white macbook and a soundboard for a mac mini to put me at $100. Once the items arrived the power supply had a large black spot on the power supply board and of course it was dead. Three of the seven macbook bezels had cracks in them.

I called Gainsaver.com and inquired about the bad power supply and cracked bezels and they stated "all our power supplies are pretested before shipping" and hung up the phone on me. I went online and filled out an RMA for return, I called Gainsaver to find out when they would be shipping me a replacement power supply and bezels. Gainsaver stated "we issued you a refund and you have to re-order another power supply and pay for shipping again". I'm not going to pay for shipping on anther item and take the chance of receiving another broken item from a scamming company like this. I called Gainsaver a second time and they put me on hold indefinitely, so I hung the phone up.

If you're looking for a reputable electronics company that stands behind their tested products and and visually inspects their used electronic items, then Gainsaver.com is not for you. The company should change their name to GAINLOSER. You have been warned
