Complaint Review: GALERIE CONCORDE INC. NIGEL A. GODDARD

I'm glad i'm not alone on this endeavor, but at the same time its sad we all got duped. I spent close to $3400 on 2 pieces: 1) guy begin - buchart gardens 2) michel delacroix - marche aux fleurs. i did the same as you guys, i checked with the BBB, they checked out fine.

i figured this would be a chance to learn more about art and nice investment to turn around and contribute to a down payment on my first home. Apparently not! Nigel would constantly call me at work, he wouldn't take no for an answer. When i did speak to him at work, he would pressure me to buy more prints. I would tell him no more until i see a return on one of these prints. Nigel would continue to keep me on the phone trying to sell, there where times i had to hangup on him. There was one thing i really hated, he would always ask if money was the issue. That was totally uncalled for. When i did purchase prints i got the "don't fall in love with the art" speech and that its a short term investment.

Its been 2-3 years since i dealt with Nigel. One outta the blue Nigel called to tell that my prints are up for resale. i was thrilled to hear that. Now its 3 years later and i haven't heard so much as gunfire from Galerie Concorde and Nigel Goddard, if thats his real name, and as for my desire to learn more about art is totally diminished. I'd love to meet this guy person and see what he has to say to all of us that have been scammed outta money.

These Galerie Concorde guys need to be held accountable for scamming people like us. This just like that movie the BOILER ROOM only they deal with art instead of stocks. They should be shut down for good.
