It was my 30th birthday last year and I'm a huge Sons of Anarchy fan, so my wife decided to buy me a set of eight Sons of Anarchy signed photos off eBay from the seller Gameday Authentics. She didn't know any better so she thought they were legit, and she paid near $600 for them. When I received them on my birthday, I closely studied the signatures because I knew what the real signatures looked like, and these ones just didn't look right to me. So I took closeup photos of every signature and sent out a series of tweets, Facebook messages and emails to every actor from Sons of Anarchy that I could, asking if they could verify their authenticity. Out of the eight actors I contacted, two of them responded and confirmed the signatures were 100% fake. The actors who confirmed it were Tommy Flanagan and Theo Rossi. So I messaged the seller on eBay and told him I just wasn't happy with them and asked for a refund. He took about a week to reply to me but when he did, he told me I'd have to send all the photos back to him in the condition I received them in, in order to get a refund. So, stupidly, I sent them all back to him, from Australia to the United States, which cost me near $100 out of my pocket. I messaged him and told him I sent them back, and again he took a while to reply to me. When he did reply, he told me he was heading out of town for a few weeks, but when he gets back home he'll check the photos out and give me a refund. A few weeks went by, no communication. I sent him message after message on eBay as well as his website, but he wouldn't reply to me. By this time, I wasn't able to get a refund from PayPal anymore because it had gone past the allocated time period. He was the only hope I had of getting my money back and he knew it, and he didn't pay up. So my wife and I were left with no photos and no money. Near $700 down the drain. And what makes it worse, my best friend wanted a set too, so he bought another set of Sons of Anarchy photos off Gameday Authentics at the same time which were identical to mine. And the exact same thing happened to him. When we found out they were fake, he sent his photos back too and never got a refund either. So we both got scammed. I'm not sure if this guy sells real autographs or not, but the ones I got from him were definitely not real. To say I'm pissed off about it is an understatement. If he lived near me, I'd go around to his house and rip his head off. Just thought I'd put this up to warn others about buying off this lowlife scum. Do your research and make sure you know what the real signatures look like first, and demand proof. Thank you for reading.
