Gameday media represents itself as being in the business of helping high school athletic programs. In doing this they tell there sales force to imply to the customer that they are "Sponsorship Coordinators" for specific high schools. The sales force is told to not discuss the corporate model of Gameday until absolutely necessary. "Be evasive", "redirect".  Make the customer assume that you are actually working for the high school directly.

The environment is antiquated technology wise. This allows all sales force team members full access to customer credit card information. All information is taken over the phone and written on a piece of paper. While this is disturbing in itself, what is more disturbing is they will hire anyone "who can fog a mirror" for the sales team. Many employees have criminal histories. While this sounds altruistic - 'second chance employer'. However, they are not about that. Even if they truly are, how can they allow this type of demographic open access to credit card information?! How many of those credit card numbers have been sold?

They also will run credit card information without customer permission. "Go ahead and run it, maybe it hasn't really expired."

The physical environment is very unhealthy and verbally abusive, with management yelling frequently at the sales team about numbers.

The other thing is they completely misrepresent the position in the interview process. Presenting benefits and sales numbers that are difficult to achieve if you have any integrity!

I have never experienced a more unethical, abusive, condescending, "SWEAT SHOP" environment in my extensive career working with many, many corporations both as an employee and a consultant.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AS AN EMPLOYEE AND DEFINITELY AS A CUSTOMER!!!
