Complaint Review: Gamepal

I traded in my World of Warcraft account ( Horde faction) and recieved a coupon towards my purchase of a Made for Play account. At the time of the puchase I was told it would take 4 days to level my new Alliance character to 30, and I could begin playing with some friends I met who were already at this level.

A week after the puchase I sent an email asking about the status of the Made for Play account, and recieved no response. After 2 more emails over the next 2 days and using the Live Chat feature on the web site I finally recieved an email that they would send me a refund in GPD+ 20%( Game Pal Dollars) for an account purchase if I was unwilling to wait. I sent them an email saying that I was given a 4 day time frame and that since it was 10 days now and they had not even created the character ( You choose three names for the character you pay to have created...and none of them existed) that yes, I wanted the refund.

It has been 25 days now and 7 emails with no answers from anyone in the accounts dept. I have yet to see any refund, Game Pal Dollars or creation of an account from them. They claim 100% satisfaction on their web site and lots of other assurances, but these people are scammers plain and simple. If you are looking for a warcraft account or power leveling I would suggest you look somewhere else.

I sent an email with the link to this report saying that I would be happy to Update if they would resolve the issue.

Gamepal did so.

I recieved the refund in Game Pal Dollars 3 days after I sent the email to them with the link. I want to be fair and say that they issued the refund that I was promised and added additional GPD for the mix-up. But I do feel ( and I could be wrong) that I would still be waiting for the refund if I hadn't been so public with my complaint.

I'm still not happy with the service I recieved. But I can only complain about the slow response and the lack of email communication from the accounts dept. at Gamepal....however I was not scammed out of the promised refund.
