Complaint Review: Gametap LLC.

This all Starts a year ago, I received a promotional offer from GameTap.com to sign up for a full year for their service, and so I decided to sign up since at the time I was using the service but boy what a mistake that was, 6 months in I stopped usign the service and after 6 months on not using the service they decided to charge me for another year without my authorization, same day I received the charge I immediately emailed their support and also filed a support request on their site asking them to immediately refund me my money as I never authorized them to charge me another year, 24 hours went by no answer and again i emailed them and filed a support request in their site, finally this tiem they answered me giving me a scripted message saying they would not refund my money even tough they could see I haven;t used their service for 6 months, they apparently have a small clause in their terms of service that says they will not refund you at all if you ask after they initiate the charge, apparently even if your asking same day the charge is going trough they don't care they will still charge you for a service you do not want or will not use, so I replied back telling them I never authorized them for this charge, I only gave them my payment for a full year the year before and never agreed to pay again for another full year and again I received the same scripted message telling me that I would receive no refund, my advice stay away from this company, don't use their service or you will regret it.

I would understand if I asked for a refund a month or so later than they charged me but I did the same day and that's no way to deal with a customer.
