Let's talk about an investment advisory service that is a rip off. I signed up for a 30 day free trail at Gann Global Financial Market Forecasting Service on-line. On the 39th day I called in and said I wanted to wait before deciding which of their services I wanted to sign up for. The office worker I talked to said he had already charged my credit card for $97, which was for one month of ALL four of their services. The only difference in the services how often they are updated.

I told him that didn't seem right, and after going back and forth for a while, he offered to give me one of the weekly services, at a discounted price. I finally agreed to that, since he was refusing to refund my money. After a few months I noticed that there were weeks when no report was being issued. I called in and complained, and the same guy offered to extend my subscription...so I agree to that. This happened on two separate occasions.

I follow the stock market, and the guru who writes these reports does cycle study for his predictions, on both the stock market and the commodities market, so sometimes even thought there was a report, it did not address the stock market. The reason I am complaining is because over a period of 20 weeks, he failed to send a report 8 times !!

In July and August he was predicting very strongly that there was a major down move coming in the market. No sooner did he make that assertion again in mid August than the market began to rebound. All the way through September, and now into October, he has not said one word about the stock market, and during that time, has not issued reports at all for three of those weeks, including the last two weeks, at a time when the markets are at a crossroads level.

When I brought that fact to the attention of the office worker, he simply told me I was the only client who was complaining about it, and the best he would offer me was half my money back. I feel like this is a breech of contract scenario and extremely unprofessional. To add insult to injury, when a report was finally issue in early October, the guru, James Flanagan had reversed his opinion of what the market was going to do.

SO, even though I respect the approach to market analysis that James Flanagan does at Gann Global, I feel like his company does NOT practice fair or reasonable customer service...so my advice is to avoid doing business with them. In my mind, if I pay for a weekly newsletter, I expect to get one every week.
