Garcia motors tends to short a sales person on their commissions. I was told that on one sale I would make about $900.00. well when i recieved my pay check 2 to 3 week late after them stating that not all my transactions were completed, it was for only $1400.00 and I had sold approximately 10 to 12 cars for this company. Something seemed wrong when I looked at this pay check and the commission on that one deal was only around $200.00. It had seemed that some one had manipulated the numbers so I would not recieve as much commission from them. You know the sales person is the main stream of income for a car dealer. What I want to know is why they treat me so poorly.

Plus another point: when I go into their business office, they treated me terribly, yelling at me, telling me that I need to go get permission from my manager, and it was my manager that sent me in there in the 1st place, and I need to get certain papers signed off. This seems like to me that I was getting the run around. I got very pissed off at them and started to retaliate in a business but stern manner. With in a day or two my manager told me to never go back into the business office for anything, and I looked at him with a questioned look and asked him they can treat me that way, why is it that they can not take it after giving it?

Garcia motors is a terrible place to work.

Liars. Not only do they treat the employees like crud, they do it to the customers to- and the trash talking they do in the managers office about a customer.

I must say, this is the oddest place I ever worked in the years of selling cars. This is the first place I worked where it took days, weeks, months to get your commission slips. I was used to getting them the next day! And... they were NEVER correct. If your still there, run far far away and just go to a reputable company- Garcia Automotive should not be in business PERIOD! Not only do they treat the employees like crud, they do it to the customers to- and the trash talking they do in the managers office about a customer that is sitting on the other side of the wall is just terrible. i dont think calling someone a "caca roach" because of thier credit score is a professional thing to do- but thats just me I guess.

I worked for these criminals too- and I always had a sketchy pay check. There was also a few people that would never get paid anything if there was a rough month, and that is illegal, but thier loop hole was to say that they can't pay anyone minimum wage because there is no way to track the hours. Toby, Ed, and the youngest rich brat are all chumps. I work in a higher class sales establishment that never berates thier employees, yells, cursing and threatening of your job- these people are class A unprofessional in all areas. Contact the department of labor- When I got my taxes done, my accountant couldnt understand where they came up with thier numbers. They should consider hiring a professional to do the paychecks, but they dont. Your lucky if you get your check on time! They care more about keeping the addicted crackhead salespeeson working there than people that show up everyday ready to work and sell cars! They are extortionist! Most of the people working there are total alcoholics! This is like a haven for incredibly unprofessional people.
I mean, when the General Sales manager is an ex-con- what do you expect?
