Complaint Review: Gardeners Choice

Gardeners Choice I sent check for $12.47 for 2 trees, never got them! fraudulent ripoff business ripoff fraud business ripped off and scammed Hartford Michigan

I ordered two trees from an ad that was in the sunday Parade from the local newspaper on March 2, 2002.

They were supposed to be delivered at planting time for my region, early April. I have not received them as yet. I ordered them under my daughter's name, Dianne Simon, same address, as I was in Florida at the time and wanted them for my home in Ohio.

Could you help me with this problem?

1.mention that you will report them to the FTC, CT bbb
2.refer to the following FTC rule:
"According to the Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Merchandise Rule, by law a company should ship your order within the time stated in its ads. If no time is promised, the company should ship your order within thirty days of receiving your properly completed order, including your name, address and payment. If the company is unable to ship within the promised time, it must notify you by mail or telephone, give a revised shipping date, and give you the option to cancel for a full refund.

If payment is made by check or money order, the company must issue you a refund within seven business days. If you authorized a charge to a credit card account, the company must credit the account within one billing cycle, not give credit toward a future purchase. "
