Ordered 4 bags of the QuickLawn grass seed on 12 June 2007. Site details "optimum planting seasons" and zones for various products. but I live in Florida! I can technically plant anything all year, but this company feels it knows best and will tell me when I can or cannot plant the product that *I* purchased.

Called NON 800-number customer service line only to be put on hold and ultimately disconnected after 30 minutes or so, TWICE.

Sent following email:

It is 9 July and I still have not received my grass
seed - 4 weeks!. There is no "optimal planting
season" for grass in Florida, and I demand a refund
for my product. I have tried your customer service
number several times only to be kept on hold for 30
minutes or more and then disconnected.

I demand an IMMEDIATE response to this email and a
refund to my credit card or I will contact the Better
Business Bureau.

I am completely disgusted with the poor customer
service and professionalism of this company."

Interestingly enough, I received this prompt response on 10 July (no doubt due to the threat of involving the BBB):
"Your order is due to be delivered 7-12-7, by fed ex. Thank you."

What? No Customer Service Reps name or contact info, no apology, NOTHING.

I received a very small package containing 4 bags of GENERIC, no name lawn seed on 12 July. WalMart distributes better quality than this crap! It was a simple plastic bag that said "Grass Seed" on the front, and nothing else. No manufacturers label or info.

The back of each bag was labeled with a white InkJet Printer label stating "QuickLawn" with instructions. Any Joe Schmoe could have printed that and tried to pass it off as a professional-grade product.

I also ordered enough to cover 2,500 sqft, but each bag only contains enough for 500sqft. do that math, that's only 2000 sqft!

Such a rip off. I sent a response today stating a demand for a refund by 18 July or I'm contacting the BBB.

This company is a scam - stay away from them!
