Complaint Review: Gardners Choice

In the begining of May I ordered 245.01 woth of trees and plants by internet email from Gardners choice.(Thank goodness on a charge card!)
under special instructions
I requested that they call me about 2 things.
(email would of been fine also)

I wanted the delivery date because I travel and wanted to make sure some one was here to receive the and plant them when they come.

I also had 2 questions
Whether the plants and trees were "suitable for hot drought like conditions full sun and heavy rainfall as I live in Sunny Central Fl.

When I tried calling the company at the phone number listed in the catolog that they sent me I recieved a recording that It would cost me 75 cents to leave a message.
I called a few more times and finally left a couple of messages. I also emailed them at customer service
when I got no response
I tried to cancell the order.
Of course they told me my order was in route.

the Catolog said I was getting trees not sticks!!!

a couple of hours later some of my order was delivered 12 dead sticks with dried up broken roots attached to them I ordered 12 poplar trees Not a single leaf on the 2 foot long sticks oh there was a couple of dead buds on my "Sticks".


I ordered a tree not a bare root seedling!


I ordered 1 fruit salad tree and 1 5in 1 apple tree.
the fruit salad stick was 2 1/2 feet tall a single stick with 5 light pale green leaves on it.
I thought a tree had branches!
The add said each spring the entire tree is smothered in glorious multi color blooms. Easy picking height 12-15 feet. Again where are my blooms and leaves and branches?
I did not order a half dead stick my cherry hedge was about a foot tall no branches, no leaves no buds. It was dried up. My grape plant has no buds leaves or branches
I called my Good Old trusty AE charge company and told them what happened , Frist I have to get my bill and they will try to help me.

Mean while I am writting to you all to warn you.
Do not buy anything with out an actual picture of wat you are getting.
