Complaint Review: Garret Stevenson (Maximus Investors Group Inc)

This is a warning about doing business deal with Maximus Investors Group Inc. (based in Cincinnati, Ohio), and its owner, Garrett Stevenson.

I responded to a CraigsList ad he posted back in late April this year and finally committed $5K as working capital to his firm to conduct their normal business operations in wholesales real estate deals for 90 days. Unfortunately at the end of our agreement (Promissory Note) he refused to pay back the principal plus part of the interest he owed. Do not committ any of your hard-earned capital with Garrett Stevenson as he proved to be an unreliable, dishonest and incompetent business partner to deal with.

I thought I can trust him and build a solid business relationship with him based on our initial phone conversations and during preparation of Promissory Note. He talks and presents himself and his business very well at first. However, once he receives the funds it's a painstaking procedure to recover the fund from him as he does not honor his promises and his own words.

I have all the legitimate documents and history of transactions with Maximus Investors Group Inc., and willing to provide them upon request. The objective of this post is to warn internet users against dishonest and unethical behavior of this man and ignore his solicitation for injecting any capitals to his firm. Otherwise, you'll be the next victim.
