Complaint Review: Garrett Basement Waterproofing Company

I moved into a home, and had the Basement Waterproof, about two years ago. Now the home is in major structure damage It's bad. The house was in great condition when I got it. The old owner was amazed at the damage. What happen, when I first so damage I called the company said it wasn't cause from what than did,

Since a beam had been removed many years ago, though a door way, I honesty fell as a company that specialists in this type of work could had took a closer look and had foresight in long term damage, or what I should do before than did the work. The beam is in the center of the basement creak at the doorway. The major beam had been removed and just sit on a 2X6. So now I fear of losing my house. I have been inform that the pressure from having the basement done could had causes the beam to creak.

Since my house was built in 1928 and was in very good structure condition, I made a major mistake I realizes having the basement waterproof. I'm sure it would still be in good condition, The floors are damage a window has broke, doors do not close right and the damage goes on. This may be my responsibility for trust a company and not lack of knowledge. Garrett could had taking the little extra and taking a better look in my honesty feelings. The outside walls was in good shape no creaks, no falling in, ect.

So I do hope other homeowners, be more careful than I was and make sure that there isn't anything wrong before having work done. I have had a couple people in not knowing what to do one want's a structure engineer come and look another said I needing a whole new fountain, so please do not trust a company to tell you the facts. They may say it's not there responsibility but, I question this. This is my own feelings and believes. i was in treatment and became very ill and took me down for over a year, now I'm face with losing my house.
