I am a young single mother who was in all awareness believing that I could get a vehicle through Gary Matthews Motors when I walked through their doors.

The salesmen were nice, seemed very honest and showed me a few vehicles.

I chose one that I liked and had a vehicle for a trade in on the new one. Everything went fine until after signing the paperwork they told me what my payments were to be. I was shocked and just wanted my own vehicle back and not the new one I was going to get. The salesmen told me what a great deal I was getting, how it would help me on my credit for the future. I belived them at their word. They gave me the paperwork, rushing me to sign them and then told me when handing me the keys to the new car what my payments were to be each month and when the due date would be, I told them that I could not afford payments over the $200.00 - $250.00 limit...I am a single mother of an infant with no help, I have a job that pays my bills. I get by just enough.

The vehicle I had was paid off and I had the title to it. All the salesmen wanted was their cut in the sale and rushed me to signing the papers and get me out of their. That same day within an hour of the deal, they sold my vehicle. I told them that I wanted it back because they did me wrong. All they did was laugh in my face and tell me to get over it and that I would have to pay for this new vehicle or they will reposses it.
What a raw deal and how rude they were.

They got what they wanted in just a short time, and then stand by and laugh about it in your face.

The next day I called the salesmen, the one man said he would help me and get my old vehivle back that he would call me in just a few hours to be ready, what a lie...he never called back and when I went to the dealership, they said they had no idea what I was talking about.

later on I found out from a former employee of Gary Matthews Motors, he stated that they have and that I have 72 hours to change my mind on any deal, but also said that it would be tough for me because I am a female and that is their main targets.
When a female comes in, treat her with the upmost respect and make a deal fast.

This former employee states that they do it so often, he refused and walked off his job and now warns others of Gary Matthews Motors.

You asked, "What can I do now?" My suggestion to you is to contact Ed at ripoff report via e-mail or page him and have him or his advocate Stick Bogart help you with this. They ripped you and targeted you. Dealerships are great for this! My husband works in the automotive industry and has a hard time finding honest places to work. The whole industry cons and lies

to make a living.
